I recently found these rainboots and I’m absolutely loving them. Hunters are great, but, these are a fraction of the cost, a beautiful color, and very durable, and my kids love them. Also, if your kids are anything like mine and like pressing buttons, mine are really into this “Welcome to the Symphony” book right now. Of all the button books, it’s one of the more pleasant ones to listen to, and is probably interesting for ages 3-10. And besides, it’s educational —there’s nothing like hearing your two-year-old tell his brother that he has “Beethoven hair.”

We ordered a few of these throw pillows from Target a few months ago and my husband was just saying how much he loved them that I think we might get more. They’re huge, and so, so comfy (and reasonably priced, too!) I’ve also been eyeing this floor mirror from West Elm (on sale!) and we really love the rug in our office which is also 40% off if you need a new one.
For Everyday Mamas
I am loving this concealer and it’s all the makeup I’m wearing these days but it makes me feel less tired, somehow. Also, found this shirt on Amazon and loved it so much I bought it in two colors for “athleisure” or spontaneous walks that turn into sweating while corralling kids. It’s very flattering and comfortable and light. Works great with these leggings that are also very flattering and shaping (and high waist if you like that!)

In trying to keep the little ones entertained these days, I picked up a couple sticker books—this farm scene by Melissa & Doug one for my three year old, and this Minecraft sticker book for my 7 year old. We’re also loving this book (the mouse has to follow the dotted line on each of the pages to the end where the cheese is located — so clever!). And, my daughter needed a new scooter (toddler sized), so we picked this one up with light up wheels on Amazon. Loving that the handlebar height is adjustable. That was key.

We’ve been spending so much time in the backyard lately that I wanted to add a few pieces to make it a bit more comfortable as we sit outside. We just got this outdoor rug and patio loveseat at Target and I love them both (our new favorite reading spot!). Hoping to add a couple outdoor end tables like these soon, and some floor lanterns too! (If you’re in need of some outdoor inspiration for decorating, I’ve been getting some great ideas from this blog post by Emily Henderson on three different looks for decorating with Target patio furniture!)
For Everyday Mamas
I’ve been needing to update a few basics in my closet lately, like shorts (it’s hot already in Texas). Most days you’ll find me wearing Nike shorts and t-shirt, but on those days when I want to feel a little more put-together and still comfortable enough to play on the floor with my kids, I’m going to be wearing either of these two shorts (this one or this one) that I just ordered from Loft (currently 50% off!!).

We’ve been creating a “pooltopia” in our backyard with this inflatable pool and this little wading pad, and it’s been saving our afternoons! If you’re in the market for an inflatable pool, grab this little electric air pump too – is a total necessity for quick set ups!

I don’t know why it took me so long to get one, but I finally ordered a wipeable tablecloth and it has in no small way changed my life! This one is durable and pretty! Outside, we’re slowly sprucing up our garden for spring. I love these planters I grabbed from Target. This one is so sweet and colorful, and this white set is fun to mix in with the patterned ones! Finally, I recently discovered this recipe for homemade biscuits, and we’ve been eating them non-stop. The best part is there’s no yeast, rise time, or special ingredients required!

The Glossier Brow Flick detailing pen and Cloud Paint blush have become my recent obsession! Brow Flick stays on all day, and the Cloud Paint is so gorgeous for summer. I also recently ordered this tinted sunscreen from Amazon, and I’m loving it paired with the Glossier items! Finally, I’ve been living in loose summer dresses recently. This one from J.Crew I recently purchased is pretty, comfortable, and also 40% the already reduced sale price!

I recently found my dream diaper bag and already bought it in two different colors! The best part about it is that it’s reasonably priced and can be found at your local Target. This bag is perfect if you’re on the go and is machine washable for those everyday stains that inevitably come with kids. This chewable rosary has also been a life saver with my teething 8 mo old. We take it with us everywhere we go and she gnaws to her heart’s content!

Not really something specific to home decor, but I came across this recipe from whatsgabycooking.com and it is such an inventive and absolutely delicious way to use some of the staples in your pantry. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

I have been loving this bronzer from Benefit. It’s perfect for all skin tones and adds a touch of warmth to the skin – perfect for the warmer months ahead! I have been obsessed with the workout/loungewear section of Target and amongst the workout clothes I bought recently this pair of shorts and top have been on rotation in different colors for me and are just about the only things keeping me motivated to workout during quarantine.
Lastly, I have recently become obsessed with my kindle paper white it’s compact enough to throw in my diaper bag and pull out at an opportune time and allows me to read in bed without waking my husband. Since using it, I have seen a big uptick in the volume of reading I’ve been doing and, even better, a significant decrease in my tv consumption!
