    Allie McKenzie Barvick

Allie is the mother of two precious boys on earth and three little ones in Heaven. When she's not dancing to musical soundtracks with her 1 year old or building "Laura's little house" with her 4 year old, you can usually find her curled up in her favorite yellow chair, reading books or writing reviews of them. Before settling down in Kansas City to a life of caring for littles, Allie taught literature at the University of Kansas, where she earned her MA in English in 2012. She has a particular talent for making mixed CDs, loves to experiment with new recipes in the kitchen, and has a heart for caring for other loss moms and raising miscarriage awareness.
