Andy Brown Park West | Coppell, TX

Address: 363 North Denton Tap Rd. Coppell TX 75019

Like much of Coppell, where parks and playgrounds are beautiful, Andy Brown Park West is no exception.

This playground has a nice variety of things for kids to climb up and slide down. There’s tons of space to run. Because this park was recently constructed, the equipment is all in great condition and the playground is very clean. I also like that this playground has incorporated some unique play structures and climbing equipment that we haven’t seen at other playgrounds.

However, this park is less appealing in the middle of summer because it can get pretty hot! There is very little shade and no splash pad for water relief. There are a few shade awnings over the playground equipment and a covered picnic area, which do help, but you might prefer coming here on cooler days.

This playground is really great for kids about 3+. The slides and climbing apparatus are a little steep for kids under 2 years old. There is a baby swing however, and lots of running-around space for toddlers.

Note: The playground is nestled in the middle of a variety of sports fields – baseball, soccer, etc. There are basketball and sand volleyball courts right next to the playground, which makes this a nice park for teens and older kids too!

Extra Info
Hours: Sunrise to Sunset
Age Range: All
Parking: Easy. But the playground is not visible when you first pull into the circle drive. When you pull into the main entrance, you’ll want to take a right and drive around the baseball fields, which mark the middle of the park. The playground is behind these fields.
Bathrooms: The outdoor bathroom facility is its own separate brick building nearby. It’s easily viewable from the park and within an short walking distance.
